Saturday we went grocery shopping in France. Saturday evening we had friends over. Made the most delicious home made pizza. Let the dough rise slowly over an 8 hour period which made it extra tasty. For dessert we had chocolate fondue. This is definitely my favorite kind of fondue. Sooo much better than cheese fondue. We laughed a lot and had a great evening together. I am just so grateful for the wonderful friends we have here in Basel.
This envelope arrived last week. A co-worker of C sent him a book shortly before Christmas from the UK. So C was expecting this package with the book but it never came. Then we forgot about it. The other day it suddenly was in our mail box. Miss sent to Australia first. Hmm, kind of a long detour but better late than never, right?
My dear phone finally got a protective shell. Now it looks just like new again. The shell actually covers the parts that had gotten slightly bruised as it fell to the floor. Love the new look.
Sunday was kind of a grey and cold day. I've set the agenda for 2014 to pick up on exploring our surroundings, going on road trips and just seeing and doing more. Today was the perfect day for a museum visit. Sundays that is pretty much the only option you have if you want do do an indoor activity outside of the home.
The seagull winged Mercedes is a real vintage classic.
Monday and a fresh new week. It is just another of those gray days with rain lingering in the air. I guess it is just that time of the year when the weather is not so exiting or nice. I am however, noticing that the days are slowly getting longer. Stretches of more daylight both in the mornings and evenings. Today my new online German course semester is starting. There is a classroom chat this evening. I am going to work on a new chapter when it comes to translating and then I am off for some good spinning during lunch. What are you up to today?
