I believe that fall is coming to an end and winter is right around the corner. Well winter seems to actually be arriving this week. The cold is hitting us hard with only a few degrees above freezing. It's time to switch the tires on my bike to winter tires. The last of the beautiful fall colors are found on the Japanese Maples. Time to step up on the coziness inside as it is getting colder and darker outside.
The leafs keep collecting in large piles on the ground. November is just not as pretty as October.
The trees are getting more barren, quite naked in fact. Here is a before and after picture. This is what it looks like now.
...this is what it looked like about a month ago.
Well it is time to curl up inside, light plenty of candles, enjoy some great movies or favorite tv-series. Time for slow cooking, hearty stews, and warming soups. Time to enjoy a nice bottle of red wine. When it comes to wine I will be attending a wine tasting of Corsican wines this evening. Looking forward to that as I am very curious about the Corsican grapes and wines.
Has the cold reached you yet or do you still have fall? Getting ready for Christmas and Holiday decorations? I feel I am. Have a great Tuesday.
