Right now we seem to be somewhere in between winter and spring. There are days when the sun is shining, temperatures are mild and the birds are singing in the air. Then there are days when rain turns into snow, skies are filled with white snow flurries. Here are some pictures that I took during one of our ski-weekends in Champery. C and Elsa had gone up the mountain but I decided to go for a walk instead. Skiing when it snowing like this does not give you much visibility and that is something I don't like. However, it does look pretty.
Fabulous old Swiss houses and snow flurries.
Then all of a sudden it stopped snowing and the clouds scattered letting the sun through. It was such a beautiful and amazing sight to see the snow covered peaks of the mountain in all their glory shining in the sunshine.
I am glad I got these shots with my camera.
The view from our hotel room just as the afternoon was turning into evening. The snow, the sweeping clouds rolling in and the lights in the homes and houses. Coziness inside and winter wonderland outside.
