Our French neighbors below are also taking Halloween seriously. They put up these cute bats. There are lots of kids in this neighborhood so I guess we should expect some trick and treaters coming by.
They also carved this great pumpkin.
I think this is an excellent idea. Found this little note in our mailbox yesterday. A small description of Halloween and making sure it is to be celebrated on the 31:st. Small groups of 5-8 kids may come to your door and ring the bell and ask for candy. If you were willing to participate and hand out candy you light a candle and put on your doorstep.
So I am on my own this week. C is in Boston. He made it despite being a nightmare flight with a seat in the middle of the middle.
The weather is gloomy. True fall weather with sprinkles of rain and grey skies. But so far not too cold anyway.
Tonight I am hosting my first wine tasting, iiiiih! Exited? Yes very. Nervous? Yeah a little as well.
